The Design Review Guidelines contain information on the design and construction standards and detail the approval process. In general, to properly evaluate a request, the DRC needs specific plans and cannot give a binding affirmative to a hypothetical or speculative question.


Water for homes is obtained by individually permitted and operated wells. Use is governed by the Wissler Ranch HOA Water Court Decree and the Water Augmentation Plan. This sets the amount of water that can be pumped from an individual domestic well each year and the purposes for which it can be used. Outside water used is limited to irrigating no more than 1500 square feet of lawn or garden. Water for decorative water features and hot tubs must be purchased from commercial sources and these may not be filled from the home's well.


Pets are limited to two dogs and two cats. Wissler Ranch is not a horse property. By covenants, no livestock or fowls may be kept in Wissler Ranch.
